welcome.  consider yourself part of a clandestine society of artists and creatives.  we are bringing up children in a tumultuous time, a time in which humanity is coming apart from itself, and wherein all of our pain can be seen with a swipe of a finger.  we come together to raise a glass to ourselves, our friendships, our kids and to our creative spirit.

the project that is exquisite corpse could be approached in a variety of ways.  you'll find some helpful information here for reference.  the basic concept is much like a game of telephone- one person begins, each subsequent player adds on as the circle goes round.  by the time the message- or in this case, artwork or poetry- arrives home to the original suggestor, it has taken on a completely different shape or message.  indeed, it becomes it's own organism within it's own context.

we aim to create this exquisite corpse with the intent to listen to what our creativity is longing to speak out loud.  we come together in camaraderie and creativity, and to craft for our families a culture in which we reach for creative outlets and impactful friendships above shallow interactions and virtual realities.

we shall convene on the third friday of each month.  bring food and drink, enough to share.  to honor and reduce our negative impact on the mother earth, let us bring our reusable containers and dishes we can rinse and take home.  please also consider our planetary space when selecting art supplies to bring along, and feel encouraged to reuse and repurpose items from daily life.  you will find a link to some of the party's guidelines here.

let us gather to eat drink and be merry, raise a glass together, and make meaningful and long-lasting memories.
